Sterilization of empty dewars
Protocol D is for the sterilization of dewars (both empty or containing LN). This protocol can be used in lieu of the sanification procedure. The protocol offers, in addition to the convenience of not having to ship dewars to outside sanification plants, the important advantage of delivering a dewar which is certified sterile. The protocol also generates large cost savings vs. the sanification procedure.
